Overview

Qualification: Graduate

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Network, servers, storage and Cyber Security

Main Responsibilities

Physical Server & Storage Management:

• Address hardware, operating system & software/firmware issues of Tower, Rack & Blade Servers.
• Configure / manage servers using remote management consoles like IPMI, iDRAC, iLO etc.
• Execute BIOS updates and firmware updates for server and storage components.
• Configure and maintain RAID using directly attached storage devices in servers.
• Execute scheduled proactive support and performance tuning activities.
• Configure / maintain various SAN solutions from HP, DELL, IBM
• Configure/maintain various RAID Groups, volumes and LUNs
• Configure / maintain SAN switches

Windows Server Environment:

• O/S support Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019
• Configure / maintain Active Directory Domain Services and Group policy management
• Configure / maintain DNS, DHCP, File Server, Web Server (IIS), Network Policy Server (NPS) roles
• Configure / maintain Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Configure / maintain SQL Server installations along with scheduled backup, mirroring and log shipping.
• Perform operating system state backups as well as user/application data online/offline/cloud backups.
• Perform security updates and Operating System hardening activities.

Network Environment:

• Experience in managing firewall / UTM solutions

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain definitive library for OS, Applications, product guides, device firmware etc.
• Maintain and update configuration documents
• Maintain assets and software license / subscriptions
• Vendor co-ordination and support
• Maintain SLAs and do timely escalations.
• Report all incident/service/change requests in helpdesk tool.
• Provide after hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.
• Printer Configuration
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Attend network related issues.
• Configuration and installation of software’s
• OS installation and troubleshooting
• Ensure availability and acquisition of all IT related assets and software as required.
• Take all responsibility related to IT
• Identify the Suitable products for our operation and find vendor quotes and requirements
