IT Administrator

Overview

Job Summary:

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, ensure systems are secure and up to date, and assist in implementing new technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment
• Monitor and manage network performance and system availability
• Provide end-user support and resolve hardware/software issues
• Administer Microsoft 365
• Manage backup systems and disaster recovery plans
• Maintain network and data security, including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management
• Support video conferencing, and other communication systems
• Maintain IT documentation and inventory
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers
• Assist in IT policy development and enforcement
• Train staff on best practices and new technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in IT administration or system/network support/ Hardware support
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and desktop OS (Windows/macOS)
• Experience with network protocols, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and virtualization
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSA/MCSE, or CCNA
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
