Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Data Analyst/Engineer to join our data team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions. You will design and build robust data-driven solutions, develop insightful reports and dashboards, and serve as a subject matter expert for data analytics within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data solutions tailored to business needs.
• Develop interactive dashboards, KPIs, and visual reports using Power BI.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and transform data.
• Utilize Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Create clear documentation including BRDs, HLDs, and process workflows.
• Identify opportunities for improving data flow, quality, and governance.
• Support data compliance and security standards in reporting and analysis.
• Mentor and support junior analysts and engineers in best practices and technical development.
• Participate in special analytics projects and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 4 to 12 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or BI reporting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Power BI for report building and data visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL with a deep understanding of relational databases.
• Experience in Python for data processing and scripting.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in preparing business and technical documentation (BRD, HLD, etc.).
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data storage and analytics.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Domain knowledge in banking or financial services is a strong plus.
