IT Engineer

Overview

As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software, as well as network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's IT systems. You'll also assist with IT projects, provide technical support to users, and contribute to the overall improvement of IT infrastructure and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware and Software:
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on IT equipment.
• Ensure security software is kept up to date.
• Network Infrastructure:
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues.
• Respond to general IT requests.
• Train staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
• Project Support:
• Assist with IT projects, including planning, implementation, and testing.
• Contribute to the documentation of IT systems and processes.
• Other:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and trends.
• Contribute to the improvement of IT infrastructure and processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

1-4 years of experience in IT support, hardware/software maintenance, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with ITIL framework and service management principles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹325,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
