Overview

Job Summary

The IT Executive is responsible for managing and supporting the hospital’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. The role ensures smooth functioning of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), network security, hardware, and software to support uninterrupted healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Hospital Information System (HIS) / Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Provide technical support to hospital staff (doctors, nurses, admin)
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (computers, printers, scanners)
• Monitor and maintain network systems (LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity)
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes
• Handle software updates, patches, and antivirus management
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT services and system upgrades
• Maintain IT inventory (hardware/software assets)
• Assist in implementation of new IT systems and digital initiatives
• Ensure compliance with data protection and hospital IT policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., networking, hardware, cybersecurity) preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), hardware, and OS (Windows/Linux)
• Familiarity with HIS/EMR systems
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge
• Good communication and user-support skills

Experience

• 1–3 years of IT support experience (healthcare experience preferred)
• Freshers with strong technical skills may be considered

Working Conditions

• Full-time role; may require rotational shifts or on-call support
• Fast-paced hospital environment with critical system dependencies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
