Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent junior IT Field Engineer to join our team in Chennai on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in IT hardware support and troubleshooting. This position will require frequent field visits to client sites, focusing on resolving various hardware-related issues effectively and efficiently.

It's for IT hardware support replacement of the Lenovo laptop.
In a day you will be assigned with 5-6 tickets and you have to collect the device from the warehouse in Chennai, pick up the device and visit each site to fix the faulty part and complete the task. So this is how the work will go.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hardware troubleshooting skills are mandatory, involving the identification and resolution of technical hardware issues
- Proven expertise as an IT Hardware Field Engineer (Mandatory skill) with experience in customer-oriented roles
- Must be adept in Lenovo Laptop Hardware Replacement which includes swapping out damaged or malfunctioning parts
- Experience in RAM Replacement, ensuring memory components function properly within compatible laptop models
- Proficiency in replacing Laptop Motherboards and validating post-repair functionality of the device
- Understanding of server and network hardware to facilitate integrated IT solutions
- Ability to work independently, managing time effectively to handle multiple client requests
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse clients and explain technical information in an understandable manner
Roles and Responsibilities
- Visit client sites to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on desktops and laptops to ensure optimum performance
- Implement hardware upgrades, specifically focusing on Lenovo Laptop components
- Coordinate with the support team to ensure effective resolution of technical issues within the scope of service agreements
- Document and communicate technical solutions for recurring issues and potential system improvements
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools effectively to minimize downtime in repair activities
- Stay updated with current technological advancements in hardware solutions to offer informed recommendations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and security of all customer and business data
