Now we are looking for a IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will be a part of our Global IT Team.
Role Overview
The IT Help Desk Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to employees and customers. They will work closely with other IT professionals to resolve computer-related issues and ensure that all systems are functioning properly.
Your Impact On The Mission
- Provide technical support to employees and customers via phone, email
- Rotational shifts in 24x7 model (5 day working)
- Experience working on ITIL based tools like Manage Engine Service desk, FreshService etc for managing day to day work
- Understanding of SLA’s
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues
- Document and track IT helpdesk tickets
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
- Train and mentor new IT helpdesk technicians
- Stay up to date on the latest IT technologies and trends
What You’ll Bring to The Table – About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in providing technical support to end users
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with other software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers
- Hands on experience in Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
