Position Summary
VSI Technologies is hiring a results-driven and strategically minded IT Manager to lead Project Management, Service Delivery Operations, and Global Client Engagements across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector accounts. This is a high-impact leadership position that blends technical excellence, cross-functional team management, federal contracting, and enterprise transformation expertise.
You will be responsible for delivering superior outcomes across MSP environments, government programs, and global enterprise initiatives, all while coordinating multi-national teams, optimizing operations, and cultivating long-term, high-value client relationships across time zones and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
Global Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead geographically distributed project and operations teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC to ensure seamless 24/7 client service and project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, partners, and delivery centers, adapting communication styles and delivery strategies to cultural nuances and business environments.
- Navigate time-zone complexities, offshore delivery coordination, and multilingual project communication with clarity and confidence.
Strategic IT Leadership
- Own the end-to-end performance of project delivery and MSP service operations across enterprise, federal, and global customer portfolios.
- Guide and mentor a team of project managers, IT engineers, and support analysts, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions across cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and SaaS platforms.
Client Ownership & Expansion
- Serve as the executive point of contact for high-value federal, commercial, and international accounts, ensuring continuous value delivery, contract satisfaction, and account growth.
- Proactively identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during ongoing engagements and collaborate with sales/capture teams to shape technical solutions and proposals.
- Lead technical orals, briefings, and performance reviews with clients ranging from U.S. government agencies to global corporations.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Establish, enforce, and refine ITIL-based operational workflows, SOPs, and automation strategies for service desk, change management, and incident response functions.
- Oversee secure operations in line with international compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC).
- Implement KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure measurable service performance across projects and operations.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in IT service management, project delivery, or systems engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing global or multi-regional teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering services across MSP contracts, federal programs (FAR/DFARS/CMMC), and international enterprise environments.
- Strong technical foundation in cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), cybersecurity frameworks, and digital transformation strategies.
- Proven ability to operate in complex, cross-cultural, and multi-time-zone environments with fluency and confidence.
- Executive presence and communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders across federal agencies, enterprise clients, and global partners.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP, ITIL v4, CSM, or SAFe Agile
- AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or relevant cloud certs
- Familiarity with international compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and FedRAMP Moderate/High
- Experience with platforms such as ConnectWise, ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira, Salesforce, or HubSpot
