WHAT’S THE ROLE?
- You will be part of the operations team within GF Finance, Data & Reporting SOM.
- The Treasury landscape consists of 10+ Super Prime & Prime business critical applications which manages Shell’s Cash position day in, day out, adhering to daily deadlines of the banking industry, subject to SOX/FCM Controls.
- The Pensions and Insurance landscape consists of a variety of business critical and non-critical applications to manage Shell’s Pension commitments and our internal self-insurance business.
- We work with several suppliers to manage a mix of hybrid on-premises and Cloud operational landscapes with many integration points. With a complex and critical landscape like this, there is a need for the highly secure environment to be run and maintained for the Treasury and Finance business to operate.
This position has the following accountabilities:
- IT service management, investigation, analysis, raising and managing incident, problem and change tickets to conclusion liaising and driving the responsible team (internally and/or externally) for a resolution.
- Follow the processes for efficient handling of incidents, problems and changes in compliance with SOX and IT control requirements.
- Managing and executing controls liaising with IT teams and 3rd parties.
- Managing user access for critical Treasury applications.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in liaising with business stakeholders, IT teams, embedded third-party service providers, and external suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical issues to all organizational levels, and demonstrate a proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
We are keen to hear from the candidates with below skill set:
- Masters degree related to IT or Management with Bachelors degree to IT/Computer Science
- Minimum 1-3 years’ IT service management skills
- Proficient in general desktop tools but must be Microsoft Office.
- Ideally but not mandatory, an understanding of SQL Server, ability to write and debug SQL stored procedure/views/functions/triggers.
- Ideally but not mandatory, use of Service Now tool.
Key Skills:
- Liaising with business stakeholders, Shell IT Teams, 3rd party service providers embedded within Shell, and 3rd party external suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
