Job Description: IT Project Manager – Banking Sector About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology-driven projects within the banking domain. This role requires a strong background in banking operations, IT infrastructure, application management, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects within the banking domain, including core banking system upgrades, digital banking initiatives, cybersecurity projects, and regulatory compliance implementations.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation charts.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Engage and manage vendors, third-party service providers, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, risk assessments, and issue resolution discussions.
• Ensure regulatory and security compliance for all IT systems and solutions.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and business stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices post-project completion.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• ✅ Strong project management expertise with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid models.
• ✅ Excellent knowledge of Core Banking Systems (CBS), Internet/Mobile Banking, Payment Systems (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI), and related banking applications.
• ✅ Understanding of banking regulatory guidelines (RBI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• ✅ Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• ✅ Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent.
• ✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• ✅ Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
