Job Title: IT Scrum Master

Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Scrum Master to join our Enterprise Application Development Operations (EADO) team. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of projects by facilitating Scrum events and supporting our teams in overcoming obstacles. The IT Scrum Master will work closely with the EADO Program Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, and Technical Program Manager to ensure efficient project execution and alignment with business goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact the development of critical enterprise applications and support our Oracle financial platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily Scrum events and ceremonies for EADO teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Provide weekly updates on EADO PI (Program Increment) and Feature status to stakeholders.
• Partner with and support the EADO Program Manager, Product Owner, and Product Manager in their respective tasks and responsibilities.
• Facilitate quarterly PI Planning events for the EADO team to ensure strategic alignment and goal setting.
• Collaborate with the Technical Program Manager throughout the project lifecycle to lead and support team events and initiatives.
• Apply knowledge of Scrum and SAFe methodologies to guide teams through PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, backlog grooming, and other Agile events.
• Monitor and report on team metrics such as velocity, defect rate, predictability, and flow to drive continuous improvement.
• Support the engineering team in utilizing SAFe practices, providing guidance and expertise where needed.
• Engage with Oracle financial systems and collaborate with the Controller/Finance team as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in an IT Scrum Master role or similar position.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.
• SAFe certification is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle financial systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and drive team collaboration.

Tools and Technologies:

• Proficient in Atlassian Jira for tracking and reporting on work, including the use of dashboards, timelines, project boards, and metrics.
• Skilled in using Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Atlas for project management and reporting.
