Job Title: IT Support Admin
Location: Kerala, Trivandrum
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to end-users, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support network systems, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot system, application, and connectivity problems
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Monitor system performance and ensure security compliance
- Assist in maintaining IT documentation and procedures
- Support software updates, patches, and backups
- Coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN)
- Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
- Experience with remote support tools and ITSM platforms
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
