Overview
Your Contribution- Perform configuration (customizing) of time clocks and access devices as part of a global IT service based on dormakaba.
- work as needed to support new and existing functionality, analyze configuration issues.
- Troubleshoot issues with devices, network connectivity, end to end time punch tracking, device to server connectivity etc.
- Perform Access control configuration and troubleshooting such as Card and / or Biometric authorization configuration.
- Participate in project management within the IT HCM area that includes planning and time forecasting for procurement of devices, badges etc.
- Identify core issues, root causes by analyzing various incidents such as device downtime events to plan workarounds, propose alternative solutions, etc.
- Assist in Auditing various policies and violations, participate and support TISAX and other such practices that may include access to various MAHLE locations.
- Successfully completed a technical degree in Business Informatics or comparable education.
- Good knowledge in terms of Computer networking such as DHCP, IP & MAC addresses etc.
- At least 2+ years of experience in IT support systems.
- knowledge in dormabaka time and access related hard- and software is beneficial, processes around time tracking using SAP is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting, working with colleagues that are located remotely.
- Ability to work Independently as well as within a Global team. Must be proficient in working with people around the world in various countries including Excellent English language skills.
- Experience in working with Functional, Technical Design & Testing documentation.
- Ability to understand requirements, prioritize tasks based on business impact of IT systems.
- Strong computer skills, including MS office – Tools like, Strong Excel knowledge and data management skill, PPT, SAP.
- Strong communication skills: (written and verbal) to effectively convey information to stakeholders and team members. Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills: to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills: to motivate and guide teams, build relationships, and manage conflict.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
