Overview
- Job Summary:
The IT Support & Admin Officer will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations, providing technical assistance to end-users, and managing office administration and assets. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and supporting connectivity while handling administrative duties and managing office resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:IT Support
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10).
- Provide technical support via remote desktop sharing and on-site assistance.
- Troubleshoot networking issues, TCP/IP configuration, routers, and switches.
- Install, configure, and update Symantec antivirus and other software for end-users.
- Manage file sharing, security permissions, and data backup/restore.
- Handle disk and service management, OS repair, and recovery software.
- Configure internet settings, reset Wi-Fi router passwords, and maintain smooth connectivity.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local printers and data cards.
- Resolve end-user tickets within SLA, maintaining proper logs of technical issues and solutions.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.
Administration
- Manage office assets, including IT hardware, software licenses, and office supplies.
- Handle office administration duties, maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage blue-collar employees and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain records of IT inventory, repairs, and purchase requests.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and servicing of IT and office equipment.
- Support in compiling reports on customer feedback and product requests.
- Ensure proper documentation and upkeep of technical and administrative logs.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in IT infrastructure and networking.
- Good understanding of operating systems, connectivity, and security management.
- Ability to resolve client application issues and provide user-friendly support.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist end-users and manage teams.
- Time management and ability to work under SLA constraints.
- Basic knowledge of office administration, asset management, and vendor coordination.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support and office administration.
- Experience in networking, OS troubleshooting, and user support.
- Familiarity with Symantec antivirus and remote support tools.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and IT documentation practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹23,000.00 per month
