Overview
Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing timely and efficient technical support to employees, ensuring that all IT-related issues are resolved in a professional and customer-focused manner. This role involves resolving IT support requests, diagnosing computer system problems, and assisting with various IT-related tasks, such as onboarding new employees, software installation, and hardware updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support via ticketing systems, calls, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot hardware issues – laptops, desktops, peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN and VPN connectivity problems
- Install, configure, and maintain OS, software, and IT equipment
- Manage IT assets and hardware/software inventory
- Escalate complex issues and document resolutions effectively
- What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of IT Support/Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience
- Strong grasp of Windows OS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and VPN troubleshooting
- Experience with Dell, HP, Lenovo laptops and basic hardware diagnostics
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools
- Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work night shifts (US hours)
Resolving IT Support Requests remotely and in person for US as well as India.:
- Promptly respond to IT support requests from employees
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Configuration and Permission Changes:
- Modify computer configurations, settings, and permissions as necessary to resolve IT issues.
- Ensure that proper access levels and permissions are maintained for security and functionality.
Onboarding Support:
- Generate user accounts and sign-ins for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Assist new employees in setting up their workstations and familiarizing them with IT policies and procedures.
Ticket Management:
- Log all service requests and incidents accurately and promptly in the ticketing system.
- Maintain detailed records of actions taken and resolutions provided.Update and prioritize service tickets as needed.
US Shift Work:
- Be available to work during the US shift to support employees and ensure continuous IT service coverage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting computer systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with software installation, hardware upgrades, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Pay: ₹10,518.95 - ₹36,614.18 per month
