IT Support Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware & software.
• Perform bug fixing and issue resolution for Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Manage and maintain network connectivity, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.
• Assist in setting up and configuring new IT equipment (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.).
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to users.
• Ensure regular system updates, patches, and security measures.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve system efficiency and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT Support or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop troubleshooting (Windows, Mac, and Linux preferred).
• Experience in bug fixing and resolving technical issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches, LAN/WAN, VPN).
• Familiarity with antivirus, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Certification in CCNA, CompTIA A+, ITIL, or MCSA is a plus.
• Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux).
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
