IT Support Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

The role involves overseeing the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization's hardware, software, and network infrastructure, while providing technical support to end users. Responsibilities include installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve software and hardware-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, including network configuration and account setups.
• Perform a variety of system management tasks, including installations, troubleshooting, system maintenance, upgrades, and providing support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office automation equipment.
• Monitor system performance and resolve any emerging issues.
• Oversee and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, PRI, and active/passive network management.
• Manage and ensure the proper functioning of the corporate Proxy server.
• Administer and support the corporate video conferencing setup.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and assistance.
• Collect and analyze network utilization data for capacity planning and optimization.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Facilitate user onboarding to the network and troubleshoot related issues, while managing both local and wide-area networks.
• Manage and troubleshoot antivirus software and resolve virus-related incidents.
• Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
• Identify and resolve issues with the organization’s computer systems and networks.
• Track IT assets, including warranty information and asset movement.
• Ensure the security and operational efficiency of IT infrastructure.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Any Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Postgraduate qualification is not required.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products, including O365, Outlook, etc.
• Experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to VPNs.
• Knowledge and experience with Proxy servers.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.
• Practical knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, such as printers and scanners.
• Understanding of network security best practices and antivirus solutions.
• Familiarity with hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Ability to document processes and procedures effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
