IT Support Intern at ZeroNorth
We are looking for an enthusiastic and quick-learning IT Support Intern to assist our IT operations team. The intern will help with day-to-day technical support, MacBook management, IT asset handling, and troubleshooting tools such as Google Meet. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-time IT workflows and user support activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in configuring and setting up new MacBooks (Apple ID setup, MDM enrollment, software installation) & Troubleshoot macOS-related issues such as performance problems, system updates, application errors, and connectivity issues.
- Support users with macOS features including Keychain, Spotlight, iCloud sync, and Time Machine backups.
- Install macOS updates, security patches, and essential applications & Troubleshoot browser issues on Safari and Chrome.
- Apply knowledge of macOS interface, system preferences, file system, storage management, and Activity Monitor.
- Assist employees with joining, scheduling, and troubleshooting Google Meet sessions.Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions & Help track and update IT inventory (laptops, accessories, software licenses, etc.).
- Provide technical support for network issues, software installations, and application-related problems.
- Assist in preparing IT equipment for new user onboarding & Maintain documentation for IT processes, asset records, and support tickets.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior members of the IT team & Utilize knowledge of IT support, MacBook management, and Google Workspace tools.
Your profile:
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related fields (e.g., Hardware & Networking).
- Strong interest in learning MacBook management and cloud-based tools like Google Workspace.
- Good understanding of operating systems (macOS),Google Sheet,Doc, and basic networking fundamentals.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work effectively in a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
