IT Support Technician

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking basics, and IT troubleshooting. The role involves providing onsite and remote technical support to clients, maintaining IT infrastructure, and assisting with system implementation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and laptop support — installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows OS and software.
• Manage printers, scanners, antivirus, and email configurations.
• Handle network troubleshooting — LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, and connectivity issues.
• Perform system and data backup operations and ensure data integrity.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of servers, NAS, routers, and firewalls, VM, Linux.
• Monitor and report system health and performance.
• Log, track, and close support tickets in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers for issue resolution.
• Support in implementation of IT security practices and DLP solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Course or certification in Networking, System Administration, or Cybersecurity preferred.
• Basic understanding of Windows OS, MS Office 365, and Networking.
• Knowledge of backup systems, NAS, firewalls, and remote tools is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and handle both onsite and remote support.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Active Directory / Office 365 Admin.
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote monitoring tools.
• Awareness of cybersecurity basics and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
