Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT equipment to ensure seamless operations. You will also support video/audio conferencing and help with PC hardware installations.
Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
- Support desktops, peripherals, and other IT equipment at our Bulgarian office
- Assist end users with Microsoft Office products
- Provide support for video and audio conferencing tools.
- Address user-reported incidents and handle service requests adhering to SLA’s
- Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WAN)
- Assist users with remote access solutions
- Set up new desks and relocate PC hardware as needed
- Contribute to the knowledge base and documentation, ensuring resources are in place, accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in helpdesk and application support.
- Experience in a financial firm or equivalent fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Good general knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory.
- Experience with 2FA and mobile technology (iOS and Android).
- Troubleshooting skills related to PC hardware and printers.
- Understanding of Citrix/virtualization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Working days/hours: Monday to Friday, Night shift (5/6pm - 2/3am) ; Fully working from the office - SKCL Prime, Plot No-C46A, Cipet road, Fourth Floor, Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate, Alandur, Guindy, Chennai -032
