IT Trainer

About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training program development: Design and develop training materials (manuals, guides, presentations, e-learning). Customize training programs based on audience skill levels and organizational needs.
2. Delivering training sessions: Conduct in-person or virtual training on software, systems, tools, or IT best practices. Use a variety of instructional techniques (hands-on labs, workshops, simulations).
3. Assessing training needs: To analyze skill gaps through surveys, interviews, or assessments. Collaborate with management or HR to align training with business goals.
4. Technical instruction & support: Teach topics such as Microsoft Office, cybersecurity awareness, cloud computing, programming, or proprietary software. Provide post-training support and guidance to learners.
5. Monitoring & evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through tests, feedback, and performance metrics. Continuously improve content and delivery based on learner feedback and industry trends.
6. Documentation & reporting: Maintain training records and prepare reports for management. Document updates to training content and learner progress.
7. Keeping up to date: Stay current with IT trends, certifications, and new technologies. Attend workshops, webinars, or pursue continuing education.
