Java Application Developer

Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality product code using Java and Java EE technologies
• Build server-side, stateless services and web clients for enterprise-grade applications
• Apply object-oriented design principles, UML, Domain-Driven Design, and design patterns
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate data using relational and NoSQL databases
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable microservices using Spring Boot
• Perform unit testing and functional testing to meet performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into deployable solutions
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication (From Top 100 Engineering Colleges as per NIRF Rankings 2021, 2022, or 2023)
• 3–7 years of overall software development experience
• 2–5 years of hands-on development experience in product organizations or large enterprise systems
   

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, UML, Core Java, Java EE, and design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design and Microservices architecture
• Strong experience with Spring Boot for building scalable and resilient services
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API development
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including:
• Coding standards
• Code reviews
• Version control using Git
• Build and release processes
• Testing and deployment workflows
