We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of robust backend architectures that power multiple mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms.
• Build backend systems using Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin) or Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Integrate and manage databases including MongoDB and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, Firebase Auth).
• Integrate third-party APIs such as Razorpay, Twilio/Agora, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AWS S3.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Work closely with frontend and mobile app teams to support API integration.
• Maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, CI/CD, and environment management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot or Node.js with Express/NestJS.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of API security, rate limiting, role-based access control, and WebSocket/STOMP.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with real-time communication systems (chat, video call).
• Understanding of multi-tenant architecture and microservices.
• Exposure to GraphQL, Docker, and DevOps pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Cloudinary, and scalable media management.
