Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Team Lead with 8+ years of hands-on development and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS, and a proven track record of leading a team of developers to deliver scalable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 5 backend developers through the software development lifecycle

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

Manage deployment and infrastructure using AWS services

Collaborate with product owners, frontend teams, and DevOps for successful project delivery

Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best coding practices

Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and performant

Participate in architecture design and technical planning

Requirements

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud

Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)

Proficiency in REST API development and microservices architecture

Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)

Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices

Strong understanding of version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and team collaboration
