JAVA Backend Developer

Overview

Role Overview:
Looking for an opportunity to work on modern, cloud-native backend systems? Join our team as a Java Backend Developer and help design, build, and scale microservices that power critical business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and relational databases (MySQL).
2. Build and enhance microservices/SOA-based architectures with clean, well-documented REST APIs.
3. Integrate and work with Kafka / other MQ systems for event-driven and asynchronous processing.
4. Collaborate with front-end teams (Angular/React/TypeScript) to deliver end-to-end features.
5. Work on cloud-native applications deployed on AWS/Azure, following best practices for scalability and reliability.
6. Use both MySQL and MongoDB where appropriate, ensuring data integrity and performance.
7. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.

Must Have Skills:

1. Strong programming experience in Java (core + backend frameworks).
2. Hands-on experience with MySQL (schema design, queries, joins, indexing).
3. Solid understanding of Microservices / SOA patterns and RESTful API design.

Good To Have:

1. Experience with Kafka or other MQ systems.
2. Experience building and running cloud-native apps on AWS or Azure.
3. Exposure to Angular / React / TypeScript for basic front-end integration.
4. Knowledge of Scala or Python for backend or data-related services.
5. Hands-on with MongoDB alongside relational databases.
6. Strong understanding and practical exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
