Java Backend Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java-based microservices, event-driven architectures using Kafka and RabbitMQ, and modern containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications
• Build and manage microservices-based architectures
• Implement event-driven and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external services
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage them on Kubernetes
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
  
  

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+)
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker for containerization
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
  
  

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Helm, Prometheus, Grafana
• Exposure to Reactive Programming (WebFlux, RxJava)
• Experience with security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
• Understanding of domain-driven design (DDD)
