Java Backend Developer | Contract-to-Hire

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (4 to 8) and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs for integration with frontend and third-party systems.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Implement security, data validation, and business logic.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and maintain code quality standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate builds, deployments, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple environments and applications.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in backend technologies and architecture.

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Proficient in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and related best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
