Job Title: Java Developer – Spring Boot & Kafka (Remote)

Experience Required: 2 to 4 years

Location: Remote (Preferred candidates from Gujarat)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Java Developer with 2–4 years of experience in building robust backend systems using Spring Boot and Apache Kafka. You will be part of a high-performing remote team working on scalable and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Integrate and manage Kafka for event-driven communication and streaming data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and team members to understand requirements and deliver clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD automation.

Required Skills:

• Solid programming experience in Java 8+.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka – producing/consuming events, designing topics, performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Git, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud-native technologies.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Redis, or any NoSQL database.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
