About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and driven Java Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to building robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design effective software solutions.
• Develop clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and associated frameworks.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Optimize database performance through efficient SQL queries and PL/SQL tuning.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle—requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in Java development to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Java development with a solid grasp of programming principles and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring or Spring Boot, and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience or understanding of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Apache Wicket.
• Understanding of microservices and enterprise architecture.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
