Profile Description

We're seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology Services team as a Vice President in HR Technology to play a key role in designing and building robust enterprise solutions, driving the development process, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Division

Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.

Supports clients in attracting, developing and engaging employees through Technology innovation. Implements Technology to help reinforce the Firm’s brand through driving new business and fostering business collaboration. Leverages Technology to help connect employees to the Firm and our culture, as well as to highlight the Firm’s people and accomplishments.

What You'll Do In The Role

• This is a leadership role that combines deep technical expertise with strong project delivery and team management skills.
• You will play a key role in designing and building robust enterprise solutions, driving the development process, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end development of enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Lead architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions.
  
  

What You'll Bring To The Role

• Technologist with 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java and related technologies.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands in SQL / PLSQL - Should have experience in writing and debugging SQL statements/procedures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions) and release management processes.
• Proven experience in building and deploying applications in the Cloud.
