Java DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated APEX Product Developer (Java SRE) with a strong background in Java development and production support to join our team in Bangalore. The role demands an experienced individual who can manage end-to-end incident handling, ensure reliability in production environments, and contribute to development activities for a critical platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end incident management and timely resolution for critical production issues.
• Handle Java-based application development, bug fixing, and enhancement in a live production environment.
• Own and manage production support activities, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous availability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Utilize observability tools such as Elastic Search, ELK/ELF stacks for log analytics and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Vert.X framework and prior exposure to AMEX platforms is a strong advantage.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in Java Development and Production Support (SRE) roles.
• Proven expertise in incident handling and resolving live production issues.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, Elastic Search.
• Working knowledge of at least one Cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Vert.X framework and AMEX systems is a plus.
