The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework. As an Associate you support senior staff and engage in project tasks while building meaningful client connections and growing your personal brand through continuous learning and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions using Java technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality products
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommended practices
• Contribute to the documentation of software processes
• Assist in the testing and validation of software applications
• Support team members in achieving project goals
  
  

What You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of experience in Java development
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• Proven experience in Java, Spring Framework, and EJB
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JMS, and microservices
• Understanding of financial applications, especially payment/wires
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies
• Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of containerized deployments preferred
• Experience with message parsing in banking messages preferred
• Knowledge in OPF preferred
