Your future duties and responsibilities

Role Summary :

Senior Data Engineer role focused on building a large-scale Harmonization Layer on Google Cloud Platform. Transform deeply nested and hierarchical datasets into harmonized and enriched BigQuery tables aligned with a global data model. The platform processes multi-terabyte datasets daily with strict data quality and schema stability requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement Apache Beam pipelines on Dataflow. Transform complex JSON / Avro-style hierarchical data. Reconstruct semantic relationships across datasets. Implement 1:1 mappings and shared harmonization logic. Design and optimize BigQuery tables for downstream consumption. Integrate data quality checks and validations. Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow). Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.

Required Skills :

Strong Java expertise with proven production experience building Apache Beam pipelines on Dataflow. Proven hands-on experience with Apache Beam in enterprise-scale environments. Strong Python skills for orchestration, supporting pipeline logic, and automation. Advanced BigQuery (STRUCT/ARRAY, partitioning, clustering). Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer. Relational data modeling skills with solid understanding of Data Vault concepts. Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines. Data modeling for harmonized and canonical datasets. Git-based development workflows

Required Experience

5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer. Experience processing nested, semi-structured data at terabyte scale. Experience operating daily batch or incremental pipelines in production

Nice to Have :

Financial or regulated data domain experience. Experience with centralized enterprise data platforms. Data quality or anomaly detection tooling
