Java Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java-based applications to meet project requirements.
• Engage in all stages of software development lifecycle activities.

• Test and debug applications to ensure software quality and performance.
• Optimize and maintain existing software to guarantee efficiency and stability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts.
• Update and improve legacy code to meet modern standards and technologies.
• Work with databases and back-end frameworks to manage data storage solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to analyze project requirements and priorities.
• Document application features, technical specifications, and other necessary documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best coding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Java Software Engineer or in similar role.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Fluent knowledge of Java including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
• Comfortable with version control systems like Git for collaboration.
