Java Struts Developer (7+ Years of Experience)

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java Struts-based applications: Work with Struts 1.x or Struts 2.x to build web applications.
• Work on all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC): Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, architects, and other developers to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications: Identify performance bottlenecks and provide solutions to enhance application efficiency.
• Ensure application scalability and security: Implement features while maintaining security best practices.
• Mentor junior developers: Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure best coding practices are followed.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.): Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects.
• Integrate third-party services: Work with external APIs and integrate them into the applications.
• Write and maintain technical documentation: Document code and design decisions for future reference.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies: Continuously improve skills and explore new tools and technologies to enhance application development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on Struts framework (Struts 1.x or Struts 2.x).
• Proficiency in Java programming language (Java 7/8 or higher) and associated technologies (JSP, Servlets, EJB).
• Strong experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like jQuery.
• Expertise in working with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Proficient in web services (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques.
• Solid understanding of application performance tuning and debugging.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Ant.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with other Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JSF.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹3,000,000.00 per year
