Role Overview: As a QA Engineer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality of our web applications through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement automated testing using Cypress for web applications.
• Assist in developing and maintaining test cases and automation scripts.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Document and track defects using tools like leantime or similar defect tracking systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies (e.g., functional, regression testing).
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML is desirable.
• Knowledge of Cypress.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of other testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Previous internship or project experience in software testing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like leantime or similar systems.
• Understanding of web application architecture and APIs.
• Knowledge of docker and containerization is a plus.
• Basic understanding of performance testing concepts.
