We are looking for a Junior Network Security Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level professionals eager to build a career in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of network security and a willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
• Support the configuration and troubleshooting of security devices, including Firewalls, switches, APs, controllers, etc.
• Help analyze security alerts, incidents, and logs, escalating issues as needed.
• Assist in responding to security incidents and support investigations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of network issues and support clients in resolving security-related problems.
• Document processes, maintain security reports, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking and security concepts, including firewalls, switches, APs, VPNs, IAM, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security technologies.
• Exposure to security tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to learn.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
