Jr. QA Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience and an eagerness to grow in test automation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of software testing principles, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect reports.
• Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to the development of automated test scripts as skills evolve.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Pay: Up to ₹360,000.00 per year
