Job Title: Jr SQL Developer

Experience: 2 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Hybrid

Working Hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm

Junior SQL Developer in Production Support - responsible for maintaining the health and performance of database systems in a live production environment. They handle data-related issues, support incident resolution, and ensure smooth operation of database-driven applications.

Production Support

• Monitor and support live database systems.
• Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  
  

SQL Development & Maintenance

• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks.
• Support data validation and reconciliation processes.
  
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with application support, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and resolve issues.
  
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain documentation for support procedures and known issues.
• Generate reports and dashboards as needed.
  
  

Shift & On-Call Support

• Participate in rotational shifts or on-call support as required
• 2 years of experience in SQL development or database support.
• Internship or academic project experience with databases is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE).
• Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of database concepts, indexing, and normalization.
• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is helpful.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
