Jr. Test Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Jr. Test Engineer with 1 years of experience to join our team at our Kolkata, Sector V office. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing processes, test case creation, and defect tracking. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in testing applications built with PHP, Node.js, React, and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand application functionalities.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Ensure that software meets quality standards before deployment.
• Work closely with development teams to verify fixes and perform re-testing.
• Provide detailed test reports and feedback to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required (B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA).
• Strong experience in manual testing (test case design, execution, and defect tracking).
• Strong Knowledge of testing web applications and APIs and Ecommerce Website.
• Familiarity with PHP, Node.js, React, and Angular applications is highly preferred.
• Experience in working with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Automation Testing knowledge (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
