Android App Developer- junior

XPERIO Labs is a Devices & Services (software) company headquartered in Hong Kong, incorporated in 2013. It offers product development and integration services: Cloud (AWS and Azure), mobile applications, IoT hardware development etc. Xperio Labs operates in North America through SPRNGPOD Inc., based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
What you will do?
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatisation.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java, Koltin, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimisation.
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficiency in the understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Bit-bucket, and Sourcetree.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
- Experience with the IoT platform would be appreciated.
- Experince with WebRTC, Qucikblox, Agora would be a added advantage

The mode of work will be Hybrid.
