Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Manage databases and estimating methods of global Sugar and Ethanol production and risks
- Manage and integrate large datasets from various sources.
- Perform feature engineering to enhance data quality, safety and usability.
- Apply statistical estimation methods to analyze production trends and risks.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key metrics and insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, preferably in the commodities sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of data integration and feature engineering techniques.
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Dash.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum years of experience & CTC :
- More than 3 years’ experience with right skillset.
Reporting Line: Will be Reporting to the Lead Production Researcher
- Education: Master’s degree in economics, applied statistics, or similar. PhD is a plus .
Languages skills: Oral and Written Fluency in English is a must.
