Junior Data Scientist

Key accountabilities

• Analyze and interpret data from various sources, using data science methods like data assembly,
  cleansing, validation, and visualization to address business requirements
• Apply statistical modeling, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, and mathematical
  programming to build predictive models and solutions
• Communicate findings and predictions effectively through data visualizations and reports
• Create and iterate on prototypes, validating designs with business SMEs and ensuring alignment with
  requirements
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure the implementation of designs meets
  expectations through testing and inspections
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and maintain a personal education plan for ongoing
  development in technology and solution architecture
  
  

Skills and Experience

• Graduate with a strong interest in Data Science, and proficiency in scripting, preferably with SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong project management, organizational, and
  analytical abilities
• Highly technical, motivated, and collaborative, able to work autonomously or within a team in a fastpaced environment
• Attention to detail and strong personal management skills
• Familiarity with the Data Science life cycle, including data collection, hypothesis testing, exploratory
  data analysis, and feature engineering
  
• Fair knowledge in at least one data science tool (e.g., R, Python, Spark) and familiar with data
  visualization tools like Tableau, D3.js, and Gplot
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., logistic regression, KNN, decision
  trees, SVM, CNN) and basic applied statistics
