Junior Java Developer

About the role:

As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will be one of the key members of the team building the next-generation, highly scalable Enterprise Application. You will coordinate with the Technical Architect, Development Leads in understanding the project requirements and work on effective implementation.

What do you get to do in this role?

• Design Enterprise Solution using Java (Spring Boot)
• Build scalable microservices optimized for performance, availability, and maintainability
• Architect systems that evolve from MVPs to battle-tested, production-ready platforms
• Own critical features from ideation to deployment, especially AI/LLM-integrated workflows, semantic search, and smart automation
• Collaborate with DevOps, Product, Frontend, and Data teams to ship high-impact features
• Champion code quality, performance best practices, and documentation

Must have Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience building production systems in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of distributed system design, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows, CI/CD practices, and containerization using Docker
• Experience deploying and debugging services in cloud-native environments
• Comfort with backend fundamentals: data modeling, caching, error handling, observability
• You’re hands-on, thoughtful, and care about building things that last

Bonus Points/ Nice to haves:

• Integrated or built with LLM APIs, semantic search, or personalization engines
• Experience with Kafka, OpenSearch, or advanced caching strategies (Redis clustering, etc.)
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability stacks
• Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., healthtech, fintech) or real-time platforms
• Passion for clean architecture, domain-driven design, or event-driven systems
