About the Role
We are looking for a Junior ML Engineer who is passionate about Generative AI and eager to build production-ready AI features that directly improve learning outcomes for students.
You'll work closely with senior engineers and product teams to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered experiences using LLMs, NLP techniques, and modern machine learning workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior ML Engineers to build, test, and deploy AI-powered product features
• Develop clean, scalable Python code and reusable modules
• Implement and optimize LLM workflows, including prompting, tool/function calling, and retrieval-based systems (RAG)
• Integrate and maintain LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, and other foundation models
• Improve output quality through prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and structured testing
• Design and execute regression testing, validation pipelines, and quality checks
• Build and consume REST APIs to integrate AI capabilities into backend systems
• Document prompts, experiments, datasets, and feature logic for maintainability and scalability
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to deliver impactful learning experiences

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of hands-on experience building AI or Machine Learning solutions
• Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with prompting, tool/function calling, retrieval-based systems (RAG), and model evaluation
• Strong Python programming skills
• Understanding of LLM APIs, inference workflows, output validation, and prompt iteration
• Experience building or integrating REST APIs
• Familiarity with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• Understanding of NLP concepts, tokenization, prompting strategies, and evaluation methodologies
• Strong problem-solving ability and a continuous learning mindset
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
