eScanX is Erichsol's AI-powered OCR document scanner that accurately extracts and digitizes data from receipts and invoices. Using advanced machine learning, it automates document processing workflows for businesses with precision and speed. We are looking for a motivated junior tester to help ensure the quality and reliability of eScanX. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, validate OCR accuracy, and collaborate with the development team in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Write and execute manual and automated test cases for eScanX across web and mobile platforms.
2. Build and maintain automation test suites using Robot Framework with Python.
3. Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of OCR scanning, data extraction, and document classification features.
4. Validate the accuracy of AI-powered text recognition on various receipt and invoice formats.
5. Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps in Jira or similar tools.
6. Test REST APIs related to document processing using Postman.
7. Participate in sprint ceremonies within an Agile/Scrum team.

1. A. Requirements:
2. 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3. 2. 0–2 years of experience in software testing (internships or academic projects count).
4. 3. Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
5. 4. Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Robot Framework.
6. 5. Basic understanding of software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and QA processes.
7. 6. Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
8. 7. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills for remote collaboration.
9. B. Nice to have:
10. 1. Exposure to testing AI/ML-based or OCR/document processing applications.
11. 2. Familiarity with Selenium or Appium for UI automation.
12. 3. Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
13. 4. ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
