Junior Mobile App Developer

Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of mobile applications (iOS/Android or cross-platform like Flutter/React Native).
• Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement user-friendly features and interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and development standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues and assist with performance tuning.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries/services into mobile apps.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends and advancements.
• Assist in publishing apps to the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.

Job Requirements:

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
• Proficiency in at least one mobile development framework/language:
• Android: Java or Kotlin
• iOS: Swift or Objective-C
• Cross-platform: Flutter (Dart), React Native (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Basic understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with API integration (REST/JSON).
• Basic understanding of mobile app deployment processes (Google Play Console / App Store Connect).
• Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior developers or tech leads.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
