Junior Software Engineer - .NET Core Backend

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using .NET Core.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in .NET Core backend development, specifically in a SaaS product environment.
• Strong understanding of the .NET Core framework and C# programming language.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs and experience with web services integration.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with database technology such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proven ability to document requirements and specifications.
• Prior experience with performance and/or security optimization.
