About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

A. Platform architecture & development:
1. Build or refactor the core web app for lbdsmartschool.com using modern, production-ready technologies such as React/Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, Django, or Laravel while justifying the chosen stack
2. Implement secure, role-based login and registration flows for school owner, principal, teacher, parent, and student
3. Create a multi-tenant school onboarding to ensure each school has its own dashboard, data isolation, and branding

B. EduCoin engine (rewards/gamification layer):
1. Build the EduCoin system to issue, track, redeem, and spend EduCoins with an integrated leaderboard feature
2. Record the specific behavior or achievement that generates each EduCoin such as attendance, discipline, academic excellence, or co-curricular participation
3. Design the EduCoin dashboard to be clean, credible, and visually appealing for school principals to present confidently to parents

C. School ERP essentials (V1 scope):
1. Develop attendance tracking functionality for daily or period-wise monitoring
2. Configure timetable, class allocation, and teacher mapping modules
3. Set up a push-style communication panel for circulars, notices, and homework updates sent to parents
4. Build a basic analytics dashboard for school leadership showing attendance percentage, most rewarded students, and other insights

D. Performance, security & reliability:
1. Make the site production-ready by ensuring responsiveness, speed, SSL security, and protection against common exploits
2. Set up a database with proper separation of tenant data to maintain data integrity for each school
3. Implement audit logs to track user actions and timestamps
4. Configure basic data backups and recovery systems to prevent data loss

E. Deployment & handover:
1. Deploy the application to a scalable cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or DigitalOcean
2. Set up separate staging and production environments for testing and live operations
3. Document the entire system to enable easy maintenance and scalability by future hires
4. Create an admin superpanel for the LBD Smart School internal team to monitor school signups, usage, and issue resolution

Other Requirements:

1. Prior work with school ERPs/LMS/EdTech portals/coaching institute CRMs/parent communication apps

2. Experience integrating WhatsApp/SMS/email notification layers

3. Experience with fee/payment modules, Razorpay/Stripe integrations

4. Experience building responsive PWAs (progressive web apps) so teachers can use them on their phones inside classrooms
