Technical Skills
Front-End Development :
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with code editors and basic design tools.
- Strong command of PHP.
- Proficiency in MySQL and SQL.
- Experience with API integration.
- Knowledge of security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- WordPress-Specific Knowledge :
- Deep understanding of WordPress core, including its architecture and template hierarchy.
- Proficiency in creating custom themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with the Gutenberg editor and its API.
- Experience with debugging and testing techniques.
- Knowledge of site speed optimization techniques.
- Years of Experience: 5 years of experience required in WordPress development, considering both front-end and back-end development.
- Project Portfolio: Portfolio of previous WordPress projects to assess the candidate's skills and experience.
- Communication : Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Teamwork : Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and other developers.
- Time Management : Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Client Needs Understanding : Ability to actively listen to stakeholders and translate their business objectives into functional website features.
- Marketing Awareness : Basic understanding of marketing principles and how they relate to website development, including SEO and user experience.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) : Awareness of AI integration in WordPress and the ability to utilize AI tools.
- Core Web Vitals : Understanding of Google's Core Web Vitals and how to optimize websites for better performance.
- Low-Code/No-Code Development : Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and their potential impact on WordPress development.
